Black Creek Pioneer Village Celebrates Ontario Craft Beer No Comments »

Brewsfest image 2007 The second edition of Brewsfest is fast approaching: September 6th and 7th… I am really looking forward to it. There are so many activities planned…it’s going to be two days packed with Ontario Craft Beer fun! There will be local beer and food experts leading various activities, the Brewrianists Society will be participating and, of course, there will be great bands (I can’t wait to hear the Sky Diggers!)… I will be there again this year, doing guided beer tastings on behalf of The Beer Lovers’ Tour Co. on both days. See you all there!

Cameron’s Cask Night: Thursday June 26th 6:00 - 8:00pm 1 Comment »

Following last month’s infamous Mesquite Smoked Ale with BBQ Master Jason Rees (perhaps the best Cask Night yet) this month’s Cameron’s ‘Let’s Drink the Cask Night’ will be on Thursday June 26th, from 6:00 - 8:00pm

Cameron’s Cask Nights are a casual and intimate monthly event at the brewery. The guestlist only event is free of charge and mainly a chance for us to share a glass of our latest creation with our friends, supporters and our local community.

Pint Glass.jpg

For those who have not been to the brewery before, this is a great chance to meet the folks behind the scenes and to tour our facility.   As well, it’s a great time to pick up some brewery fresh Cameron’s beer.

We will be tapping the Cask at approximately 6:15pm.

Whole Foods Markets have graciously donated some delicious food for the event.  The food will be available at 6pm.

As always, the event is capped at 60 people to keep it intimate and to ensure everyone gets a taste of the cask.  RSVP’s always come flooding in, so confirm your attendance as quickly as possible.

Due to the good weather and overall cheer at the brewery, we encourage everyone to invite a guest (or a few) to join them this month.  Just indicate how many people will be coming with you on your RSVP.

For any questions or to RSVP (if you haven’t already), email mike@cameronsbrewing.com

Our on-site retail store will be open throughout Cask Night for those that want to pick up beer for the weekend.

For more information or to get directions, visit this Cameron’s link.

We also now have a blog so check it out.

Hope to see you all on Thursday.

Cheers.

Hello Operator on Tour with Cameron’s 1 Comment »

Hello Operator is a breakthrough band.

They were called a “newsmaker” in Macleans magazine, and listed as “one of 12 bands to watch out for” by Canoe.ca after their exciting Canadian Music Week performance.

Their video for Chasing Satellites has been in regular rotation on Much Music and Much Loud since November 2007 and have been featured on MTV Live.

Cameron’s knows the value of beer on tour, so when when Hello Operator expressed interest in Cameron’s, we helped them out with a little supply for the tour. When they returned, they sent us some pics and clips of their travels with Cameron’s in hand. Press play on the bottom left play button to check out this sweet video.

Check out Hello Operator for a tour stop near you.
